President's Message from Brett Lieberman: See What MSPCA is Doing for You

Dear MSPCA Members,

It’s hard to believe summer is almost over! I hope you’ve had a great season and are seeing the growth and success you’ve worked for.

While you and your team have been dealing with the heat, pests, and day-to-day challenges of running a business, MSPCA has continued working on your behalf. Your volunteer Board, Executive Director Andrea Coron, and Associate Director Kristin Coron are keeping an eye on legislative and regulatory matters in Annapolis, at the county level, and in Washington, D.C. They are also planning technical and business training programs to support you and your team.

Planning is already well underway for next year’s Interstate Pest Management Conference. Save the date and plan to attend on January 27th and 28th. If you have ideas for speakers or session topics, complete this form to share them with us.

A half-day Western Maryland Recertification Training is also planned for October 7. This virtual program is open to everyone. Click here to learn more.

Interested in getting more involved? Our next MSPCA Board of Directors meeting will be held on November 18 (tentative) and will include a special in-person dinner. We would love to have you join us. It’s a great chance to hear what MSPCA is working on, share your ideas, learn what’s coming up, get involved with a committee, or simply spend some time with fellow members. Details will be posted on www.maryalndpest.org soon, but mark your calendars and plan to attend!

If you have an idea for an event, technical or business training, or a new member benefit, please reach out. We want to hear from you, and your participation helps make MSPCA stronger.

Stay safe!

Regards,
Brett
